Design, develop, test, and iterate on best-in-class eCommerce fulfillment software built with Python (with Django) and JavaScript (with React) in a fast-paced, agile environment
Collaborate with a globally distributed team of other engineers, UX designers, product managers, and other technical teams to create intuitive and powerful user experiences
Mentor junior engineers through training, individual support, code reviews, and pair programming
Own projects from end to end - manage the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing success of technical projects
WHO YOU ARE
You have 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, 3+ years of experience with React, and a strong foundation with HTML/CSS and ES conventions
You have a strong understanding of RESTful APIs
You are familiar with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, Yarn, etc
You are proficient in working with Git and understand version control strategies
You understand cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
You are proficient with browser-based debugging and performance testing (e.g. lighthouse, Chrome Dev Tools, Page Speed Insights, React Profiling)
(Nice to have) You have worked with Typescript in the past
(Nice to have) You have some experience developing eCommerce software
(Nice to have) You have experience with Material-UI and Design Language
